The Nigel Home for the Aged accommodates single elderly residents in neat single- self-catering units at reasonable rates.
Couples are housed in one- or two-bedroom rental housing units. Covered parking facilities at an extra cost are offered.
There are also two-bedroom units for rent, which in addition to the second bedroom have the same amenities as the one-bedroom units.
Services such as foot care, blood pressure monitoring and blood sugar testing, as well as hair salon services are available on site at minimal cost. Free transport is provided on Wednesdays to residents on the premises to and from town. A minimum fee is charged for transport for other purposes, for example for doctor appointments etc. at other times during the week.
