Goue Jare Retirement Resort has residential units of various sizes, the right of occupation of which is sold. Right of occupation involves life right for the purchasers, which is not transferable to heirs. Right to life comes to an end when the survivor dies, or when the owners are no longer able to look after themselves. Eighty percent (80%) of the original purchase price will be refunded to the estate or to the purchasers, as the case may be, within six months after the agreement has come to an end.
Spacious one- and two-bedroom units of different sizes are offered. One bedroom units have a carport, while 2 bedroom units have a garage.
A levy in proportion to the size of each dwelling unit is paid for services such as municipal services, insurance, security, maintenance, garden services and the like. Electricity is provided by prepaid meters, the coupons of which can be obtained from the Home Office.
Silver Years Retirement Resort located in Kerk Street features 2 Bedroom right of living units each with a garage features all the benefits available to the Golden Years residents.
The same services offered for the rental housing units namely emergency medical services, hairdressers and transportation are also available for Golden Years and Silver Years residents.
